Purple Line | U+Transit
Miami's Newest Train Station: A Community-Built Transit Station Opening March 8th and 9th!
Painting the Town Purple
The Purple Line project had one overarching goal: to raise awareness around the need for improved transit in Miami. As it turns out, thousands of Miamians are not only aware, but they are engaged, involved and ready to be part of that transit community. The Purple Line project created quite a rumble, reaching tens of thousands of individuals through social media and conventional media outlets.
We are so overwhelmingly grateful for all of the support in making this happen. Below is a preliminary (yet formidable) list of the coverage that Purple Line enjoyed -- check to see if you or anyone you know is in one of the many pictures! If there are other sources or other pictures that you would like to share, please comment below or email us at purplelinemiami@gmail.com.
Thank you again for being part of this! Stay tuned for the next.

Purple Line in Miami New Times
The Miami New Times posted a nice article about our project on their Cultist blog. We love that they really captured the central message around our Purple Line project!
We did notice that only a few of our collaborators were mentioned, so we'd like to make it known that we are working with some tremendously awesome people and groups, many of whom have been on board for months and have supported us in invaluable ways.
This project would simply not be possible without each individual and organization that has joined in on the effort and those who have supported us through our Kickstarter.
